Yes, the site is completely free to play and enjoy. We may charge for some premium features in the future, but basic use of the site will always remain 100% free. That’s our promise.

| What are moderators on XuQa? What do they do? |
|
Moderators are normal XuQa members, just like you, who have volunteered to help the community by monitoring the blogs, forums and pictures posted for inappropriate content. Moderators help in keeping the site safe, clean and fun for everyone. You can identify official moderators by a moderator medal on their profile.

There are 3 membership types: Silver, Gold, and Diamond. We offer weekly, monthly, or quarterly memberships.

| What is the Lucky Draw? |
|
The Lucky Draw allows users who become XuQa members the chance to win an iPod each month. Monthly members are eligible to win an iPod Nano and quarterly members are eligible to win an iPod Classic. Members upgrading to both monthly as well as quarterly memberships in a month will be eligible to win both prizes. All users who become monthly or quarterly memberships are automatically entered into the Lucky Draw sweepstakes. The more memberships you buy the more chances you have of winning the prize.

| How is a winner declared? |
|
Draws will be held at the end of each month and a winner is chosen at random. Names of the winners will be announced on the XuQa homepage.

| What is a Coupon? |
|
We have two special coupons: Silver coupons for monthly members and Gold coupons for quarterly members. Members can proudly display these coupons on their profile.

Account
| I created an account, but I have not received a confirmation email yet. |
|
Sometimes due to delays in how emails are sent, it may take up to 30 minutes for you to receive confirmation emails from the site. Please wait. If you have still not received a confirmation email after this time, contact us immediately.

| How do I change my Password? |
|
Login to your XuQa account, and go to “Settings”. The option to change Password will be there. For security reasons, please do not share your XuQa password with anyone else, and do not use simple words that are easy to guess as your XuQa password.

| I forgot my Password! Help! |
|
Try to login with your password. If Login fails, you will automatically be taken to a page which will have an option to Reset your Password. Follow the instructions on that page. To reset your password, you must still have access to the email account that you registered with.

| I tried resetting my password, but I haven’t received the password reset email yet. |
|
Sometimes due to delays in how emails are sent, it may take up to 30 minutes for you to receive password reset emails from the site. Please wait. If you have still not received a reset email after this time, contact us immediately.

| The password reset link in the email does not work. |
|
Try copying and pasting it into you browser manually. Sometimes, email programs cut off long links into 2 lines, which browsers don’t understand. If this still does not work, contact us immediately.

| What Privacy settings do I have for my information? |
|
You can control who has access to your profile, and who can scrap (message) you. You can also choose what information to input into your profile. As a general safety rule on the internet, do not put in real addresses or phone numbers. Don’t put in any information that you are uncomfortable sharing with others.

| What happens when I link my Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo account with my Xuqa account? |
|
Once you link your Xuqa account with your Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo, you can use that login information to sign-in to your XuQa. Please remember that this is not approved by any of these companies yet. We simply provide this as a convenience feature so that you do not have to create and remember another set of passwords to use XuQa.
If you request by contacting us, we will disassociate your XuQa account with any of the above accounts and provide you with independent XuQa login information. |
| Can I control what notification emails I get from the site? |
|
Absolutely. Login to your XuQa account and go to “Settings”. All email choices are available to you, and can simply be turned on or off by choosing the ones you want.

| How can I deactivate my account? |
|
Go to “Settings” and follow the instructions for deactivating your account. You must be logged in to do this, and you must have access to the email account you used to register for XuQa.

Error
| I’m getting a “Please enable cookies in your browser” error when I try to sign-up or login. What should I do? |
|
Check that your cookies are enabled. If this does not help, try restarting your computer. If neither of those things work, please contact us.
|
| I’m getting an Error 808. What does this mean? |
|
This means that the site is currently experiencing heavy load, or that we are performing routine maintenance work on the servers. This is a temporary error. The site is usually back up in about 10-15 minutes after getting this error.

| I can’t sign-up with this email address, it says “this email is already registered”? |
|
Some idiot may have tried to sign up with your email address. The quickest way to solve this is to try and login with the same email address, and then try to reset your password. If you are the true owner of that email address, then you will be able to regain access to that XuQa account within minutes.

| The poker rooms won’t load. What can I do? |
|
For the poker rooms to load, you need the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player 8, and a decent (atleast 56k dial-up) connection to the Internet. You can download the latest Flash player from the Adobe Macromedia site

| I click the upgrade button but it takes me to a site called ‘ClickandBuy’, why? |
|
‘ClickandBuy’ is a third party vendor that we use to carry out your transaction. Simply fill out the form if you are new to ‘ClickandBuy’ or sign in to your existing ‘ClickandBuy’ account to continue the upgrade transaction. Make sure that the top header has ‘XuQa’ written.

| I have deposited the money using ‘ClickandBuy’ but my account hasn’t been upgraded yet, what should I do? |
|
The upgrade may take up to 5 minutes to show, if it does not please check the following
1. Verify that in your ‘ClickandBuy’ account, you transacted the amount to ‘iVentster’ subscribing to ‘XuQa.Com’. 2. Make sure all the details you provided while signing up with ‘ClickandBuy’ are correct. 3. Verify that the payment status on Iventster is ‘Completed’ and it is not in ‘Pending’ If you have verified all the above as correct, please click here to contact us and we will investigate. |
| Why does the transaction I made to XuQa say ‘iVentster’? |
|
iVentster is XuQa.Com’s parent company, it is perfectly fine unless it doesn’t have ‘iVentster’ written.

| How can I downgrade my account back to a free account and stop the weekly charging? |
|
To downgrade back to a free account, do the following:
1. Click Here to visit ClickandBuy 2. Log in to your ClickandBuy account 3. Click the ‘Transaction’ tab. 4. Click the ‘Subscriptions’ link on the left 5. Click the ‘Cancel Subscription’ link below your XuQa.Com subscription. 6. If you are using SMS subscription: Simply SMS IPTAL XUQA to 5877 |
| The peanuts I get on the Silver or Gold account are not enough for me, how can I get more peanuts? |
|
The weekly peanuts you get on a Silver or Gold account cannot be increased, however to receive more peanuts, you can always re-upgrade by ‘downgrade to free account’ from your Membership Settings Page and then upgrade again from the Upgrade Page and receive peanuts every time, as many times as you wish.

| I am already a Silver Account holder, do I need to downgrade to a free account before becoming upgrading to a Gold Account? |
|
No, you can simply click the ‘Gold Upgrade’ button on the Upgrade Page to upgrade.
|
| Why am I still Silver Account when I cancelled my SMS Subscription? |
|
Your account will automcatically be downgraded after a week from your subscription. If you want to subscribe again, SMS ABONE XUQA to 5877 or go to Upgrade Page to upgrade you account.

| What is JetFlort? |
|
JetFlort is a service provided by GSM operators. JetFlort subscribers will win Xuqa.com Silver membership as long as they stay at membership. You can chat via sms through hundreds of people in Jetflört and also take advantage of Xuqa.com silver membership for just 10 SMS / 20 credit per week.

Community

A community is your privately owned forum on XuQa. You can give it your own topic of your interest, theme it according to your liking and publicize it over XuQa and rest of the internet to invite people for discussions and polls.

| How do I create a community? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
|
You need to be level 3 or above to create a community. Click the communities link in the top menu bar on XuQa, this will take you to your communities page. Here, click the ‘Create Community’ button at the bottom right of the page, and fill out the form. Remember to choose a nice publicity link to your community, you can then pass this link on to your friends and invite them over to your community no matter if they are registered on XuQa or not.

| I wrote a post in a community but now I am not getting the option to delete it, how can I delete it? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
|
You are allowed to delete a post in a community only if you are the last person to post in that topic. If someone else posts a message in that topic, you will not be able to delete yours. This is to avoid confusion among post readers when a post which was replied to gets deleted. You can always contact the community owner on the mentioned on the community’s home page below the details.

| When can I create a community and how many am I allowed to make? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Owning a community is very prestigious at XuQa. It is a statement of high status, and requires you to fulfill certain conditions. You can create a community only when you are a Silver or a Gold Account holder and are on Level 3 or above. The total numbers of communities you are allowed to make depend on the Level you are at:

| Will I be able to keep the community that I have created when I downgrade back to a Free Account? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
|
If you downgrade your account to a free account and are no longer a Silver or Gold account holder after creating a community, you will still be allowed to keep the community and all activities in your community will continue, however the ‘Join’ button on your community will go away, therefore new memberships to your community will be Closed and no new user will be able to join. To Open the membership, you will need to upgrade your membership back to either a Silver or a Gold Account. If you wish, you can transfer the ownership of your community to someone else who is a Silver Account holder through the settings page of your community.
Downgrading from Gold to Silver account after creating a community will have no affect on the community and new memberships will remain open. |

| How can I transfer the ownership of my community to someone else? | ||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Transferring ownership of your community is usually a good idea if you no longer wish to be a Silver or a Gold Account holder but would like the new memberships to your community to remain open. To transfer, simply go to the settings page of your community, click ‘Transfer Community Ownership’ and enter the link to the profile of the user you wish to transfer the community to, confirm and you are done. Please make sure that the user you wish to transfer to is
1. A silver or gold account holder 2. On level 3 or above 3. Has at least 1 total ownerships allowed remaining. |
Teams
| What is a Team? |
|
A team is a group of people that join together to play Xuqa, make friends, and compete against other teams for prizes and fame.
|
| Who can create a Team? Who can join? |
|
To create a team, you need to be level 10. To join a team, you need to be atleast level 4. You can only create or join one team at a time, so choose carefully.
|
| Can I change my Team? |
|
Yes, but you will have to leave your current team before you can join a new one. If you change teams too much, your reputation may be spoiled and it will get difficult to get into other teams. Change only when necessary.
|
| Do I have to be approved by the Team Leader before I can join? |
|
Yes, all teams require approval from the Team Leader before you can join. A maximum of 100 people may join one team.
|
| How are Team scores and ranks calculated? |
|
Team scores are calculated based on how high-level its members are, and the total number of Peanuts that the team has. Rankings are the position your team currently holds in Xuqa, compared to other teams. Scores and Ranks are updated once every 24 hours. Scores are used to calculate Ranks, and Ranks determine what prizes your team gets.

| What Prizes do the Top teams get? |
|
Cash prize of $1000 every month. Super Medals. Champion crown next to picture in forums. For details, visit the Team Prizes Page.
At the end of every month, the team that has spent the most number of days at the #1 Rank will be given the $1000 prize. These will be distributed as online vouchers. A team can win this prize as many times as it wants, month after month. There is no limit. Please note, cheaters will not be given this prize and their teams will be removed. |
| How can I increase my Team's score and rank? |
|
The fastest way to increase your score is by upgrading your account to Diamond. Or you can get high-level users or rich users to join your team. The higher the level of your team members, the more your team score will increase. The more peanuts that you have, the more your team score will increase. If your team is full, then you have to focus on reaching higher levels and collecting more peanuts.

| How can I talk to my Team members? |
|
Team Leaders usually create a Team Community & Team Game Room. You can meet and chat with your team there. Be careful - other teams may be spying on you!
|
| Do I have to join a Team to use XuQa? |
|
No, joining a team is optional. You don't have to join a team to use XuQa. Joining a Team gives you a chance to earn great prizes, but it is optional.

Team fight
| What is Team fight? |
|
Team fight is a brand new feature that adds to the excitement of being in teams on XuQa. Players can use various items in this feature to reduce the health of players in other teams, defend themselves against enemy attack, and to increase their own health. Use the Attack items to reduce the health of players in other teams and reduce their score on XuQa.

| What are the different kinds of items that I can use? |
|
There are 3 basic types of items: Attack items, Protection items, and Health Recovery items. The Attack items can be used to reduce the health of your opponents; the Protection items reduce the effect of an attack on you; Health Recovery items increase your health bar. See the items descriptions for more details.

| What is My Health? |
|
You must protect your health from falling to zero and your aim is to reduce your health of your opponent.
|
| What would happen if My Health reaches zero? |
|
Your team’s point will be reduced if your health reaches zero.
|
| How can I increase My Health? |
|
You can increase your health by buying Health Recovery items.
|
| What is Workforce? |
|
The workforce is your ability to use items. Your workforce will be reduced by a certain amount whenever you use an item.
|
| How can I increase my Workforce? |
|
The workforce can only be increased by waiting 24 hours, after which it will be automatically reset. You cannot use any items to increase your workforce.
|
| Can I give items to my teammates? |
|
No, only you can use the items you have purchased.
|
| How can I increase the number of slots for my items? |
|
You can buy more slots if you want to have more items in your list.
|
| How long can I keep my items in my list? |
|
You can only keep the items for 24 hours, after which your items slot will be reset, and you would have to buy your items again.
|
| Can I change the items in my slots? |
|
Yes, you can delete your current items and buy new ones as many times as you like.
|
| How can I tell if someone has attacked me? |
|
You can see a 1-month history on the Team Fight main page. Here you can see all the people who have attacked you and also all items that you have applied over the past month.
|
| How can I attack someone? |
|
Find a team that you want to attack, choose the person in the team, and apply your item on that person.
|
| Can I attack the whole team at once? |
|
No, you can only attack one person at a time.
|
| Can I accidentally attack someone in my own team? |
|
No, attack items can only be applied to people in other teams.
|
| Can I use a Protection or Health Recovery item on members of my own team? |
|
No, Protection and Health Recovery items can only be applied on yourself.
|
Friends
| How can I find and add my friends on XuQa? |
|
To add buddies, you can search for your friends using the search provided on the top left or top-right of the home page. It will display all users with the matching name from your country. Once you've found your friend, you can go to his/her profile page and click on "Be Friend". Once they accept you, both of you will be appear in each other's friend list :)

| What happens if I delete someone from my friend’s list? |
|
They are no longer your friend. You will also be removed from their friend’s list.
|
| Why can’t I invite or add any more friends? |
|
There is a maximum limit to how many pending friend requests you can have at a time. This is to prevent spamming and abuse of the site. If you have reached this limit, get some of your friends to accept (or reject) your requests so you can add other people. Or you can also wait for a week, since pending requests will expire after one week.

| Can I communicate with people that aren’t my friends? |
|
Mostly yes, but it depends on their privacy settings. If they have chosen only to communicate with their friends, then you will not be able to scrap them or see their profile without being a friend.

Testimonials
| What is a testimonial? |
|
A testimonial is a special message that you write to a special friend to describe him/her to the rest of XuQa. You can only send or receive testimonials from your friends at XuQa

| I wrote a testimonial to a friend but it did not show up in his profile, what’s wrong? |
|
When you post a testimonial, it gets sent to your friend for approval. This means that he/she will receive it, and then accept or deny that testimonial whenever he/she is online. If accepted, it will show up the profile, else it wont.

| How many testimonials am I allowed to write to each friend? |
|
You can send maximum 3 testimonials to each friend. You can always get your previous old testimonials removed to write new testimonials to that friend.

Levels
| What are Popularity Levels? |
|
Popularity Levels are ratings for each user on XuQa that show how popular, powerful and active you are on XuQa.

| How can I increase my Level? |
|

|
You get access to special powers and Items on XuQa that you can use in the poker rooms. You get special privileges as you level up – ability to make your own room, protection from deletion in the forums, etc. For details, visit the Levels Page

| What is the maximum Level on XuQa? |
|
Level 10 is the maximum level on XuQa. It requires a lot of commitment, and good socializing, to get to this level.

| How are Levels calculated? |
|
Levels are calculated by how active and popular you are on Xuqa (logins, profile views, posts, profile visitors, comments, wins in poker rooms).

Peanuts
| What are Peanuts? |
|
Peanuts are a virtual currency that can be earned, traded and spent on XuQa.com
|
| What can Peanuts be used for? |
|
Peanuts can be used to activate advanced social features such as profile tracker, to buy special items, or in poker rooms. We will continuously add uses for Peanuts.

| How can I earn Peanuts? |
|
Click on the Peanuts icon in the left sidebar. This will outline ways you can currently get Peanuts based on your level.
|
| Can I get any money for Peanuts? |
|
No. Peanuts cannot be converted into cash.
|
| Can I give Peanuts to other people? |
|
Yes, but you do so at your own risk. You cannot get peanuts back after giving them to someone.

Peanut Generator

It gives you Peanuts once a day, based on your Level. To get Peanuts again and again, you have to login and use the generator everyday.

Peanuts are based on your current Level on Xuqa. These are given out once a day.

This system only gives you Peanuts once every 24 hours. To get these Peanuts, you have to go click that button in the Peanut Generator section. We also have some security checks to prevent cheating and peanut theft, so if your account is suspected of cheating, you may not get your Peanuts for that day.

Other Features
| How can I customize my Profile? |
|
Go to your Profile Page, then to Edit Profile. Follow the instructions on that Page. Please be careful when editing the HTML for your page. If you mess up, you can always restore the default profile page.

| How many pictures can I upload onto XuQa? How big is the storage? |
|
We provide 5,000 MB (or 5GB) of storage for pictures. That’s approximately 15,000 pictures! Upload away!
|
| What is the crushlist for? |
|
The Crushlist gives you a shot at true love without embarassing confessions or fumbled lines. Your Crushlist is always completely private, and accessible only by you. Just add your top crushes to the list and cross your fingers. If your secret admirer also adds you to their crushlist, you'll be matched automatically. If they don't select you as well, they'll never know they were on your list.

| What happens when there is a crushmatch? |
|
Bunnies. Flowers. Teasers. Twilight dinner on the promenade. We send both of you lucky matches a very pretty email. What really happens next is up to both of you.

| How do actions (kiss, tickle, bitch-slap) get upgraded? |
|
Actions are upgraded on a per-person basis, and are independent of Levels. You can upgrade your actions with a particular person by being really active with that person. For example, if I tickle my friend Gorman a lot, after a few days the tickle will be upgraded into a more fun action between me and Gorman.

Moderators
| How can I become a moderator? |
|
Be very helpful and useful to existing moderators - all existing moderators have the ability to recommend one other person to become a moderator. You might be it.
|
| Are all moderators equal? |
|
No. Moderators have levels, just like regular xuqans. They start at level 1 where their powers are limited. Older mods move up levels and get more powers. It takes at least 3 months to move up from level 1 to level 2. It takes a much longer time to get to level 3.

| How can I report a bad moderator? |
|
Go to the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page and send us your thoughts. Be as detailed as possible. Attach screen shots or other evidence if you have any.

Poker FAQs
| How can I use my purchased items in the game? |
|
When you join a game, your player's presence (the rectangular box with your picture and the cards) slides up into the room. On top of it, is a horizontal button. Click it to open a menu to see what items you have available for use. If you have a lot of items, you can scroll through them using buttons that will appear on the left and right sides of the menu.
![]() You can apply an item on another player by dragging it out of the menu and dropping it directly on the player. There are some items that are not draggable and will get used automatically. Other items may get disabled for a while after their use. You can learn more about items in the description section at the items shop page. ![]() When you drop an item on a player, the item usually does not get applied right away, an 'item queue' slides out containing the item, and the item is removed from the queue as soon as it gets applied. ![]() |
| Can I cancel an item from a queue if I change my mind? |
|
Yes. Just click the item in the queue, you want it be removed from, and it will be cancelled and removed from that queue. ![]() |
| How can I turn off the sound in poker? |
|
See the location of the sound icon in the screenshot below. At any point during the game, you can click it to turn Off all game sounds and click it again to turn it On. ![]() |
| I usually forget how the poker card combinations work. Is there some shortcut to access a reference during the game? |
|

| Are there any speedy shortcuts to play Peanut Poker faster? |
|
Yes. Notice the tiny numbers at the top left corner of your betting menu buttons during the game. If you intend to click a button when its your turn, you may choose to just hit the number key on your keyboards Numpad, that corresponds to that tiny number on the button, and it will work the same. ![]() |
| What can I use the User List panel for? |
|
The user list panel is a feature that shows up for poker room owners when they are in their room. It lists players and spectators in the room. When you click any user in the list, it shows an info window which has the profile id, picture and name of the user that links to his/her profile on XuQa. Along with this, there is a button at the bottom right of the info window with a kick icon. You can use this button to kick a user out of the room and ban him from entering back. If the user you want to kick is playing poker, he will be kicked just after his game is over. ![]() |
